Shrimad Devibhagwat assigns the 6 mukhi rudraksha to Kartikeya and Nirnaya Sindhu, calls it Guhasangyak (meaning hidden knowledge) and Jabalopanishad assigns it jointly to Kartikeya and Ganesh (both sons of Lord Shiva). It is known for refining wisdom, improving power of expression and increasing willpower. Using this rudraksha also pleases the Goddess of wealth, Mahalakshmi.
